The Sustainable Occasion recently worked with Tom Seymour from Breedr, to plan and execute their Equate 2024 seminar.
The event was held at the Hunter Warbirds Museum in Scone, in the Upper Hunter Valley in New South Wales. The two-day, innovation-focused event included:
A local stud tour of three well-respected thoroughbred studs and the new facilities of the Scone Equine Hospital;
Welcome reception at The Thoroughbred, featuring introductions from the event exhibitors and a great behind-the-scenes chat with David Waddington, the director of the upcoming Darby McCarthy documentary;
Full-day seminar and exhibition for 70 guests from the thoroughbred racing and breeding industry featuring exciting and insightful presentations designed to educate and inspire;
Delicious catering supplied by the team at The Bent Prop Cafe.
To help reduce the event's environmental footprint, we engaged local suppliers, reusable and recyclable signage and name badges, and provided carpooling / mini bus transportation options.
